Harry Potter star Brendan Gleeson has totally transformed for a new TV role as he takes on the guise of US President Donald Trump for Showtime drama The Comey Rule.
Gleeson, who played Alastor ‘Mad-Eye’ Moody in the Potter films, is unrecognisable as he dons Trump’s famous blond hairstyle in the first teaser trailer for the show and declares: “I know some people in the Bureau have it in for me. But I’m the president now.”The miniseries is based on former Director of the FBI James Comey’s 2018 autobiographical book A Higher Loyalty: Truth, Lies, and Leadership, which contains details of Comey’s career in public office and his relationship with Trump, who fired him in May 2017.
